Long Biography
Growing up in Grafton and making his way to Newcastle after finishing school, Cormac Grant has been playing guitar for as long as he can remember. His music walks a fine line—calm yet urgent, familiar yet fresh. Blending organic Americana with elements of folk and blues, he crafts songs that feel like conversations—stories of self-realization, love, and the quiet moments that say the most.
A fixture in Newcastle’s live music scene, Cormac has spent the last few years writing, recording, and playing wherever there’s a stage. His latest album captures this evolution, trading the funk and soul of his early work for something more stripped-back and lived-in. It’s music meant to console and energize, to make you reflect and, hopefully, feel like you just met the person behind the songs.
